About Course

 A Certified ScrumMaster® is well equipped to use Scrum, an agile methodology to any project to ensure its success. Scrum's iterative approach and ability to respond to change, makes the Scrum practice best suited for projects with rapidly altering and high emergent requirements, enabling teams to deliver usable software consistently and periodically through a defined project lifecycle.

The role of the ScrumMaster can be seen as crucial and involves overcoming challenges to progress, facilitating the process, and working with the product owner to make sure the product backlog is in good shape and ready for the next sprint. The ScrumMaster ensures that his team lives by the values and practices of Scrum, and doing so ensures their high performance.

This two-day Certified ScrumMaster training is delivered by Scrum Alliance Certified Trainers (CSTs) who will provide you with a deeper understanding of the three overarching areas of change under Scrum: Iterative Development, Self-Management, and Visibility required for greater project success as a ScrumMaster.

Your successful completion of this 2-day CSM course makes you eligible for Scrum Alliance's Online CSM Test.

Process

After completing your CSM course, you will receive an email from Scrum Alliance that includes a link to create your login credentials. You will use those credentials to gain access to the Online CSM Test. Once the test is complete, you will be asked to accept a license agreement. You will then receive the official designation of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance,along with a two-year membership with Scrum Alliance.

Anderson Diniz Hummel CST

Anderson has extensive work experience of more than 15 years of which 10 years were spent in the Java ecosystem and more than four years working with Scrum projects. He has over 6 years’ experience in the capacity of a trainer, mentor and counsellor having been a professor of technology for graduate and undergraduate courses. Today, he is an Agile Coach at AdaptWorksand conducts training in order to help professionals transition into the world of agility.
His specializations include experience in architecture and product development and information systems on the Java platform using Agile or waterfall, portal tools, big data, linked data, data mining and decision support systems. Having worked in Development Teams in the capacity of a Product Owner, and ScrumMaster he also has organizational experience which he brings forth in his training. Along with these, he is also an expert of Scrum, Java, Architecture, Development and other Agile methodologies. He has vast experience in recruitment and selection, foreign trade, health, health and benefits plans.

Jim Wang

Jim Wang, CST, is a management consultant working with organizations to improve their software development processes.

Jim has 20 years of experience in the software industry within China as well as abroad. Jim began his career as a Chief Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) engineer at Vicor in the US.

After living in Boston for 11 years, where he was actively practicing Scrum, Jim returned to China and successfully built up the Endeca Offshore Development Center in Shanghai (acquired by Oracle) and the Avid China Development Center in Suzhou.

Both centers were using Scrum. He has mentored over 150 teams through the successful delivery of high-end software products. He has also served as Director of Oracle’s Shanghai BI R&D center, held senior posts at several global software development firms he has a vast understanding of coaching and training executives from different backgrounds and cultures.
